Ming's Asian Street Food sits comfortably at 1864 Broad St, Cranston, RI 02905, and it’s the kind of place you notice right away for its relaxed energy and street-style comfort food approach. From the moment you step in, it feels approachable and unpretentious, making it easy to settle in whether you’re stopping by for dinner after work or enjoying a quiet solo dining experience. The menu leans into bold Asian street food flavors while keeping everything familiar and satisfying.

One of the most talked-about items on the menu is the Banh Mi with Fried Chicken. It strikes a great balance between crunchy, juicy, and fresh, with every bite feeling thoughtfully layered rather than overloaded. The Pho Tine brings a comforting, hearty vibe that feels perfect for winding down in the evening, especially if you’re craving something warm and filling. These dishes consistently show up in reviews for good reason-they’re flavorful, generous, and easy to enjoy without needing a special occasion.

If you’re in the mood for something indulgent, the Katsu Fried Chicken Sando is another standout. It’s rich, crispy, and satisfying in that way only a well-done sandwich can be. Pairing it with Street Fries or the Traditional Fries makes the experience even better, especially if you’re sharing or just want a little extra on the side. The Korean Hot Chicken adds a spicy kick to the menu, offering a bolder option for those who enjoy heat without sacrificing flavor.

Beyond the food, Ming’s Asian Street Food keeps things practical and welcoming. Dinner service is smooth and casual, making it a solid choice for families, thanks to the availability of a kids’ menu. Credit cards are accepted, which makes checkout easy, and dessert options round out the meal nicely if you’re not ready to call it a night just yet.

As a restaurant, it fits neatly into the Cranston food scene by offering a menu that feels fun, comforting, and easy to return to. The location on Broad Street is convenient, and the overall experience-from ordering to the last bite-feels consistent and dependable. It’s the kind of spot people bookmark mentally after their first visit, then come back to when they want something familiar that still delivers on flavor.

What customers say?

“ Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in Rhode Island. The Korean Hot sandwich was crispy, savory, and spicy—just what I love. I will definitely be back to try more. Very happy to have this spot in town. ”

“ This was my first time coming here since it opened, and I was not disappointed! So much so that I felt Ming's was worthy of my first-ever Google review. I came with my significant other and 4 other friends, and the staff was very accommodating about moving their seating arrangements around to allow us all to sit together. Not a ton of room for sit-down dining, but it seems like most of their business is takeout-oriented anyways. I had the "Kickn Pop" chicken along with "Pho-tine" fries (picture attached), which tasted amazing! Everyone else I was with had various styles of chicken sandwiches, and they had nothing but positive things to say about those as well. Also, the portion sizes are huge, so be prepared for leftovers! Overall, we had a great experience and Ming's is certainly a welcome addition to the neighborhood. ”

“ This place is amazing. They give you so much chicken in your sandwich or on your salad that you could share. The chicken is incredibly crispy and then tender in the middle and the sauces are amazing. This is about the fourth time we've gotten food there since it opened and every time it's great. I have trouble deciding which sandwich I want because everyone I've had is Wicked good. I have been to fancy restaurants and I've paid two or three times as much for Korean Chicken as Mings and it hasn't been nearly as good. At one high caliber restaurant I sent it back It was so bad. The service is excellent and the takeout orders are usually ready by the time you get there. As you know I don't give five stars often, but this is a five-star place in its category. So if you're south of the city and craving Korean style chicken, this is the place. Oh, and the wings are great too! ”

“ Everything was amazing, even the chicken that came in the Ceasar salad, but I gave it 4 stars because, for me, it didn't pair well with the salad. I'm a sucker for gently seasoned grilled pieces of chicken breast in a Caesar salad, not fried chicken. It's definitely a personal preference. But it was a super cute place, extremely friendly staff, clean, and the food was fresh! My daughter ordered a fried chicken sandwich with French fries, 10/10, I believe the chicken was prepared the same way as it was for the Caesar salad. ”

“ Great food and service. I highly recommend getting the crabby patty. Bring your appetite. ”

“ I had a craving for a banh mi sandwich and decided to check out Ming’s. Ordered the special classic, which includes pate, char sui, and pork sausage. Sando is large and well-seasoned. Bread looked like it was going to be too dense, but was pleasantly surprised and found it to be a good balance between a classic Viet-style baguette and French baguette. I didnt order the fries, so was surprised to get them with my order. Fries weren’t particularly interesting and not crispy enough. Friendly service, but a tad longer wait than expected for a sandwich. Got take out and sat inside while I waited for my order. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit behind in clearing and cleaning table tops, which made the space feel and look a little less polished than it could be. Will go back to try some more options. ”

“ I've never had Ming's before and live within walking distance so I decided to give them a try. I ordered a Katau BBQ sandwich, and crab rangoons. The person I was with ordered Kickin' Chicken. We were both satisfied with the food, portions are filling, the service took some time but that was expected since they're busy, and the overall atmosphere was decent. We'll definitely be returning and trying different items on the menu. ”

“ My partner is Cambodian so when I saw the name of the restaurant and peeked the menu I had to go. I eat a lot of traditional Khmer food in my day to day life so I’d say my standards are high. I also am usually skeptical of modern takes on traditional foods I love. That being said, Ming’s is THE BEST version of modern Cambodian street food I’ve ever experienced. We had the dumplings, Dac Biet, Pho’tine, kick’n chicken and the Pom Yuzu Sparkler to drink. All the flavors were masterfully executed in a way that was reminiscent of their traditional style but with their own identity. I can’t recommend this spot enough, if you’re a fan of south East Asian cuisine you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. The staff was super friendly and Ming herself gave us her personal recommendations. A delightful experience and one that I’ll be coming back to for years to come. ”
